Light and Emotion (Creation)

The way we look and see the things around us, the feeling we have, for these things the Light is a necessity. I am trying to find or to create this Light, the Light that makes me get a certain feeling, and with other elements in the photo, that shows the story behind.

The really nice thing about finding the story in the photo is that every and each of us can find a different one, and we all may have different emotions. I like the photos that make me move, that do not let me indifferent.

Archaeology

Photographing the archaeological finds always comes with special demands. It's not just showing the figurine or the vessel, the photo must show the material, the texture, sometimes it must bring to the spectator the time from which these objects come. Luckily, the National Museum in Belgrade, Archaeological Collection at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Belgrade University, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and some other institutions gave me the opportunity to record a lot of these finds, some of them more than 6.000 years old.

Art & Still Life

Playing with light, creating an atmosphere, telling the story, that’s all about here. Old cameras, film reel boxes… it was not long ago that they were part of our everyday life. Now, they look like objects from a museum. Still life paintings with flowers were very common in last century and earlier. Now I am trying to find some other “flowers” from the nature, stones and minerals are my choice.

Architecture

Some of the greatest buildings in the world are well known for many things. However, a lot of not so great buildings are very important to us, while these may show the strength and creativity of just an ordinary man. Look around you, maybe you’ll see something intriguing, and here’s what I find very interesting. Some of the builders of churches, houses, and paved streets are forgotten, but their work seems will last forever.

Landscape & Nature

Think about Nature, take care about Nature, preserve the Nature. That’s all we have. Seas, lakes and rivers, hills, valleys and plains, wildlife, domestic animals, even insects, they all depend on us, on our common sense. I am trying not to disturb anyone, and just to record the life, the Nature, not to change it
